Use a pencil to mark around the hinge so you know where you need to bore your hole. Use the chisel to scrape away excess wood shavings. Pre drill for the screws the easiest way to get perfectly centered screws is to pre drill with one of these self centering bits. Place the hinge on the door and mark the distance from the edge.
