Lvt Or Laminate Mumsnet

I know it says with laminate not to mop due to water over time ruining the wood.

What exactly is it. Would have preferred proper stuck down lvt and it would have lasted longer but we couldn t bring ourselves to spend an extra 1000 on a different sort of fake. Not saying you want a laminate look in your bathroom but they might have something you like. We have carpet in the living room.

I was pretty set on laminate but have heard great things about lvt especially in kitchens. Either quickstep impressive laminate or camaro vinyl. A cheap luxury vinyl starts at around 2 per square foot and can go as high as 7 but there are plenty of quality vinyl tiles available in the 3 to 4 range.
